NAPA used to be a great parts store. Echlin products used to be made in USA now China. They handle crap parts anymore so if you want sub-par parts Napa or Autozone are the places to shop. Places ordered online and showed parts in stock. Went to pick up and they couldn't find. Wasted about 45 min. of my time while they looked for the parts. WILL NEVER SHOP NAPA AGAIN-CRAP PARTS-NOT QUALITY AS THEY USED TO BE. ORDER QUALITY PARTS ONLINE.

Complaint

Tonight, 9/15/20 at about 7:20pm, my girlfriend and I went to purchase a few automobile parts in your NAPA Store. This was the first time we went into this store located in Hammonton, New Jersey 08037 on the White Horse Pike. I had left my used parts in my car and left my girlfriend in the store while I went out to get my parts. Another customer pulled up, parked his truck and left his truck running in the parking lot. This customer hurried inside where a white haired employee met this customer at the door but as the door closed my girlfriend walked out of the store and stated she did not want to stay there any longer. I asked what was wrong and my girlfriend said the employee with the white hair was using profanity - dropping the "F" bomb at least four times. He also said "Mother" "F". She said that it was all associated with the customer that came in to the NAPA Store something about his brakes. My girlfriend and I did not stay to give you our business and were very disappointed in the professionalism of your employee. We went to another auto parts, which had professional employees. I've been in many auto parts stores and never thought NAPA employees would behave so poorly in front of customers. I do realize you sell quality auto parts but this store lacks professionalism and proper behavior. Of course, we do not know all the details of the event, but customers should not be exposed the profanity by the employeesNot at tNoN.

Never received rebates as promised

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Due 2 rebates from purchases back in 5/2020. Got confirmation a week later that my rebates were approved. Today 9/21/2020 got nothing. Customer service supervisor told me her hands are tied as she cannot get corporate to send her the gift cards to mail out. Asked that I please call corporate and complain. The number she gave me was the same number found online for corporate and guess what - number no longer in service. This place is a scam and should be penalized for fraudulent practices. 16 weeks and 3 days and no date on when I will get said gift cards. Oh and now I learn from other complaints that if you are lucky to actually get the rebates, they are only valid for a short time and then Napa takes the money back off cards.

Pissed customer!!!!

Over 35 years of service to Napa Co . Lately wrong parts giving, and *** poor attitude giving to customer. I have used Napa for ALL my parts needs re: lobster boat, fleet service , and personal vehicles. Now past few years wrong parts given over and over again. Lately salesman attitude is down hill. I gave vehicles information and or part needed salesman gave part supposedly needed,?? Wrong. Take part back always a excuse, not because wrong number was recorded or wrong parts grabbed. Back and forth to store to exchange for correct parts. 4 times to get right part. *** Today is my last straw, I got front brake pads for my Cadillac wrong front pads giving from Bucksport Napa, my son stopped at Ellsworth Napa and got front and rear brake pads. He installed the front pads , went to install rear pads ,... wrong parts!!! I returned them to Ellsworth Napa for exchange for the right ones. All I got was a employee who decided to treat me like *** “ not his problem they were the wrong parts. “ etc etc. to much *** from him to list here. Emp 53. I was not happy with the attitude nor the disrespect to a customer. It was not my *** up to begin with and the salesman did not even care to right the wrong just charge more with a very poor attitude. I do not need this kind of big business attitude if this is what your company is promoting. I am sure I can find a company that would love to supply my lobster, oil, and personal vehicles, businesses with parts , lubricants, hoses etc ,, Please contact me regarding this issue, very pissed off business consumer.

Runaround

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Submitted receipts according to Tire Kingdom for my brakes. Napa says there is a problem with the receipt. No $50 rebate, No $25 rebate, just resend the receipt. Is this Napa problem or a tire kingdom problem? I dont care, I just will not assume there is any rebate on any Napa parts in the future.

Failure to enforce state of MN covid -19 face mask policy

I went in to NAPA auto in Baxter, MN 56425 for some parts. None of the employees or management were wearing face masks as required in the State of Minnesota during the covid-19 outbreak. What is NAPA's policy on this issue?

Wiper blades defective

I bought front wiper blades for my car at Sanel Auto Parts in Kenneybunk, Maine, a Napa dealer. I installed them and noticed the left blade had a tear in the rubber, leaving a streak. The right blade metal support is cut short resulting in a curl of the rubber. I didn't notice this till I was home, 5 hours away. I didn't contact the store, I guess I am out $27.41.

Expired Visa Card

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Purchased rear brake components under an offer that resulted in the receipt of a $75 Visa gift card. Even purchased additional parts to hit the $250 threshold though I did not need them at the time but figured some day I would replace the front brakes. Nothing about the offer on the rebate site spoke of the $75 card expiring. When I received I threw it in an envelope along with others I had been collecting for a chainsaw purchase. Apparently somewhere in the fine print on the paper received with the plastic were details on how the money was only mine for a limited time. Fast-forward I finally got around to making that purchase yesterday as pandemic related restrictions eased. Unfortunately I discovered that the $75 I had earned through my purchase had been clawed back from me by either NAPA or the Bank of America. Reaching out to both corporations has brought no relief. NAPA Know How is incomplete... should be NAPA Know How To Screw You. Suffice it to say they have lost me as a customer and here I am going out of my way to tell my story to all that care to listen/look. Have to believe will ultimately add up to more than $75 in lost business and public trust for them.

User's recommendation: Don't buy from NAPA. There are plenty of alternatives online and in brick and mortar locations. If you do and receive a rebate in the form of a gift card... use it immediately on groceries or similar. It is only yours for a limited time and cannot be counted on for those that save such things for a bigger purchase.

Sold my step son parts, the most costly and one completely unnecessary. I've not heard a single peep from NAPA. Its sad because my dad dealt with them daily almost, he passed 2yrs ago... he'd be appalled

Inappropriate sexual comment.

my neice called me about the cost of some brake parts, i called the manager who looked them up for me. My neice went to pick them up and after she left, the manager texted me an inappropriate sexual comment directed toward my neice. I contacted the DM, who dealt with it, but apparently there is no zero tolerance as i have to go back to work and face this individual which will be hard for me after what he had said. Something further needs to be done as i dont believe i should be forced to work a store manager that made this comment to my family member. Its a disgrace.
