Napa Auto Parts - Misrepresented headlight bulbs
I was referred to NAPA by a body shop. I was looking for bulbs that look like HID but reasonably priced. I bought some NAPA branded bulbs because the salesman said they would do what I wanted. Even the package stated "Look of HID!" The salesman stated that these bulbs would be bright white and look like HID with a little bit of blue tint to them. These bulbs were $20 each.
I installed the bulbs only to find that they weren't any brighter than my ordinary "off the shelf" halogen bulbs. They weren't whiter or brighter and definitely didn't have a bluish tint. In other words, these bulbs did not match what I asked for and didn't match how they were advertised or described to me by the salesman.
I tried to return them, but they said that since I had installed them, they wouldn't refund my money. This is a catch-22 situation. There is no way to know if the bulbs perform as described without installing them. But, once you install them you can't get a refund.
The last slap to the face was the general manager telling me that if I want the HID look, I have to buy the real deal. That makes sense, but I should have been told that from the beginning, in which case I wouldn't have bought these "fake" ones from them.
So now I'm stuck with bulbs I don't want or need. Fortunately, I paid for these with a credit card. I have filed a dispute with the bank and they will attempt to get the money back from NAPA. Whether I get the refund or not, I will never shop at NAPA again!
Reason of review: Not as described/ advertised.

There are bulbs that are close try AutoZone they have I believe the zxe they are great
Sounds like what happened is you bought a model of car that didn't have HID as an option or you couldn't afford the model that had HID bulbs. Then went to get by with $40 bulbs when a "real deal" HID setup would cost $500. And I'm not talking about the eBay $99 HID setups that you can't get the bulbs or connectors for except the manufacturer.
